Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election 2026

Legislative Assembly elections were held in Tamil Nadu on 23 April 2026 to elect all 234 members of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on 4 May 2026. The election recorded a voter turnout of 85.1%, the highest ever for an assembly election in the state.
