INGREDIENTS:
Pineapple : 1
Black grapes : 100 gms
Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
Red Chilly Powder: 1/4 tsp
Jaggery / Sugar: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Water: 1 Cup
For Grinding:
Grated Coconut : 1/2 cup
Green Chillies : 2
Mustard Seeds : 1 tsp
For Tempering
Oil : 3 tsp
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Red chillies : 4-5
Curry leaves : a few
Preparation Method:
* Cut pineapple into small pieces
* Grind coconut, green chillies and mustard with 1/2 cup water and keep aside
* Cook the chopped pineapple with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt with water in a pan (or cooker)
* When it is half cooked add the grapes.
* Cook together, until all water is absorbed.
* Add grinded coconut to the cooked fruits.
* Cook on low medium flame till it starts to boil, add sugar (jaggery) and mix well.
* Take a pan, add oil, when it gets hot add mustard seeds
* When it splutters, add dry red chilly and curry leaves
* Add the cooked fruit mix to it and saute well.
* Serve it after couple of hours, so that the gravy absorbs all the flavors of fruits.
* Serve this delicious Sweet fruit curry with steamed rice and Enjoy!
